Though the AARPRewards website has always been very fragile and problematic, it has become a source of continuous frustration since the creation of the dashboard. Simply put, we can't use the program anymore with any sense of reliability.I am not sure if any customer cares about the dashboard; I certainly do not find it of any use at all. I suggest that the IT group tries, if possible, to undo the immense damage they have done by creating the dashboard. Maybe reversing it could help improve the website. I think it was a case of "if it's not broken, don't fix it."But now that it's broken, fix it by getting rid of a useless feature.
I purchased 5x $500 Airbnb gift cards last Saturday (8/17/2024). I was planning to use them to reserve an Airbnb listing. I chatted with AARP agent Monday morning (8/19), I told them that I needed to use the gift cards for booking and was told that it would take 24 hours during normal office hours to get them. I checked the airbnb listing Monday afternoon and it was no longer available. The listing has gone and now I am not even sure when AARP will send me the gift cards. I contacted AARP again this morning (Tuesday 8/20) and was told they could not give me a specific timeframe but would escalate this issue and have an agent contact me directly. I am beyond disappointed at this point. Apparently multiple people in this forum had issues like this. I just can’t understand what is taking them so long to process those DIGITAL gift cards. And the fact that other members have had issues like this many times before is very concerning. Is there anyone from AARP who can actu
My acct has been frozen for a week now and I was on the phone yesterday for an hour and a 1/2 and spoke to 5 different people and no one can tell me why. Ridiculous! This happened last month and my acct was frozen for 3 weeks. I’ve lost a month of my paid membership and no one can give me an answer.
I, too have had this issue since 10/29, a month. A ticket was opened when it started, I was told there was nothing wrong on their end and they closed it but nothing changed. I had a second ticket opened, after another week I was told the magic upgrade last weekend would fix it and to be patient. It didn't. Nothing changed. I have sent private messages which go unanswered, I have sent emails to execs asking for them to direct me to anyone who can help, unanswered. The ombudsman division will not respond to emails or voicemail. I have 4 different devices (2 apple, 2 microsoft) with different browsers. I have cleared cookies, cache, logged out and in and restarted and nothing helps. From the hundreds or more of other complaints I also see with the same issue, clearly it is with aarp and not individual users and no one at aarp cares. Everyone in support acts like this is new and I am the only one with an issue. I am going to the Better

Corporate office said :"…since you received the card from AARP you will need to reach out to them for further assistance."and AARP's terms say:"Walgreens Gift Card (“Gift Card(s)”) is issued by and solely an obligation of Walgreen Co. (“Issuer”)."What should I do now?
I know the odds of winning are based upon the number of entrys, but wonder what were some historic number of entries. I thought I read somewhere. where 2 million AARP members participated in rewards. Who knows how many non AARP members participate. I'd like to see how many entries there were in that particular contest, when the winners are announced. It's been years since I had an instant win. I've never won a non-instant prize even though a few times dutifully entered the maximum entries. Now, I mainly use points to get some items without a contest. At least then. I may be lucky enough to get a card before they are out of stock. I also wish more games gave rewards. Seems like you could get rewarded the first time you play a game during a day.
Come on AARP! Rewards was down for days and now that it is up, it is NOT working for videos. What is the problem??
My wife and I both downloaded the AARP Perks Browser Extension on our laptop several months ago. We had to load it on two different browsers in order to keep our accounts separate. I use microsoft edge; my wife uses chrome. For a while, everything worked fine: each day we would click the red A icon for the extension and get taken to AARP Perks; the first screen would tell us that it takes about a minute to award the points, and then would change to show that the points were awarded. A few weeks ago, my wife's browser no longer awarded the points. The extension icon was still there, but the first screen would take us to whatever category she had clicked on, with no mention of the 15 points for the daily visit. After a phone call to the rewards number, we cleared the cache, removed the Perks extension and reinstalled it, but no change and no points. Now in the last two weeks, my browser no longer awards the points. Same thing: clearing the
Be prepared for: AARP Rewards will be performing a data refresh this weekend Saturday, November 23, 2024 and Sunday, November 24, 2024. Some data on your dashboard will not update during this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. 🙄
With the exception of the Dashboard, it appears nothing has changed, or it is even worse. We are still getting the same old messages in Redeem ("technical difficulties") and in Earn ("We are experiencing a delay"). At present, it won't even allow me to do redeems because of the technical difficulties. The videos are still slow to load, and several that I watched never did credit. With regard to the Dashboard, it is laughable at the outset: It purportedly shows activity from November 17-23, but the figures are all wrong, and it was last updated November 15! I didn't expect much from this four-day update, and I wasn't surprised by the outcome.

I need to purchase carnival gift cards tonight and of course, there is an update. Can you help me? please help. Thank you.
I purchased 4 carnival gift cards yesterday, 1-%500 and 3-$100, and have yet to receive them by email. The charges have already gone through in my bank account. I need these cards before I leave for my cruise at the end of next week. How long is it supposed to take to receive gift cards by email? Should be pretty quick. Can someone please check into this?
This has been like this for a week...unable to redeem my points
Yesterday I tried buying carnival gifts cards. The first time the site said cart expired after it took my CC but my credit card is showing pending for the amount I was buying. Went in a second time and after I put in my cc info again it gave me a error but it is now showing another pending charge for the amount. Neither of these purchases is showing in my transaction history. Has the happened to anyone else?

In the monthly extra credit, first section: Take a resourceful approach to caregiving, the link for Calculate the Cost of Long Term Care does not go to the correct calculator. Therefor can't complete that section.
Are these cards ever going to be in stock again? It's been months since I seen one. Thanks.
Each month I try to do all the Extra Credit activities to be eligible for certain member rewards, however, for November, I can't complete the first category: Take A Resourceful Approach To Caregiving. I was able to complete 3 of the 4, but the 4th one: Calculating The Cost Of Long Term Care doesn't bring up the correct activity. It should be a tool/calculation, but instead, a quiz called: Long Term Care, It's More Than Insurance comes up. And when you take the quiz, it doesn't count toward the Extra Credit Deals. So, even if I wanted to purchase something under that category, I can't because I can't complete the activities. Can you look into this, please?
The same thing happens on day 1 of each month. New gift cards are offered for points redemption, the website gets overloaded. By the time I can get on, all of the "good" gift cards like Walmart, Amazon, etc are gone, leaving only the ones that no one wants (Let's Get Hydrated Printable List, etc). Seriously? Why not release new gift cards on random days, and not exactly at Midnight?
Hoping someone here can help. Lost track of the days (think it's been at least 5 now), whenever I login to AARP Rewards I get a solid red banner in the place where it should show all my account balance info: But I'm actually logged in (it shows my name in the upper right corner), and I can access all AARP features from the account dropdown. There are several problems:1) If I click the link in the red banner to login and refresh, it just logs me out and nothing more. I log back in to find the same error.2) I cannot enter any sweepstakes or instant win games. I get this error every time: Notes1) Same error happens on my PC and my phone.2) My wife sees the exact same problems on her account3) I have cleared all cache, bounced my browser, rebooted my PC and phone, all to no avail.4) On one of the last 5 days, I was able to see my point balance instead of the red banner, but I still couldn't enter any sweeps. The next day the red banner retu
Myself nor my wife can purchase carnival gift card. Keep getting errors to call customer service. I spoke with customer service twice and was told the problem was being fixed. Still not fixed…
When I go to the AARP rewards page eventhough I am logged in to my actual account, I get the message telling me to log in again to see my AARP rewards balance etc and click on each competition. When I do this (with my correct username and password etc)...I get returned to the AARP rewards page and see the following message"Sorry, we are having trouble accessing your accountClick to login and refresh"I have being receiving this exact same message for the last several days. Any thoughts as to how to correct this? Thanks, -Griff
