From the new 9-1 Extra Credit activities many of us are not receiving the redemption emails that are normally sent out in a couple of minutes; it has been discussed in various other posts trending now - it seems there is going to be a delay. I cannot earn points today. It is saying I am maxed out (I'm not) and it is also showing that I have done every quiz and activity as well (I haven't). I can enter the sweepstakes but it is counting yesterdays entries towards todays. I called the help line a few hours ago and I was told many people are having similar problems?? 

I am experiencing a new error on the Instant Win games today, and coincidentally,  it comes at the end of the month of July.....FULFILLMENT REQUEST FAILED.   I hope this is not a preview of what we will experience at the beginning of the new month of August. Update:  The Fulfilment Request Failed on the Instant Win games was experienced again on August 31, 2025.  It appears this error is continuing to happen at the end of the month.

Same error message, different browser.  It looks like other people are getting a different type of error message when they are trying to redeem points. I'm referring to the instant win free entry method. Note: not the complete error message. I took out the clickable link.

I get a message that says redemption failed.  There is no spinning, no sorry message.  BUT when I check transaction history, the points have been deducted.This is occurring on Sunday, August 31st, a holiday weekend of course.    Are others getting this message?

AARP REWARDS currently has this vendor in the rewards catalog for a $10 gift card for 18000 points.   Admin has kept this gift card in the catalog for many monthsnow. So far it appears none of us ( paying members/seniors ) have not been scammed by this vendor. I spent points for a local vendor's event and they did not know there was a coupon for their business... they honored the coupon... however, they would like to know how to remove the coupon from the AARP local reward list... what is the procedure and contact info for the vendor to remove the AARP coupon for their business?

AARP allows you to earn points but you have to redeem by taking chances at contests,(nobody ever wins) and/or making purchases. This is ridiculous and a slick tactic.

I check daily but cannot find any useful gift cards to purchase using points. Specially we need cards such as CVS, Target, Walmart, Burger King, Chick Filet, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. 

Good Afternoon @AARPTeri , I submitted 16,000 points for a $5 Home Depot gift card at around 9:30 am on 8/13/25. I never received email with the gift card from AARP.  Contacted Customer Service at around 3:35 pm and was told there's a processing issue with the card, also confirmed redemption.  Received apologies for the problem, but won't return my pointsPlease assist with expedition of the email for Home Depot gift card.  Thanks for your assistance.@mi4090

This site is PATHETIC! Nothing works properly! AARP should be ashamed 😞 

  I really enjoy the Mahjongg Solitaire game—when it works. The aesthetics are really good, and I can tell which level the tiles are on. But there are numerous glitches, and no way to contact anyone about them. It’s a testament to how addicted I am that I continue to play it! I can’t play nearly as well on games where it’s difficult for me to distinguish the level of the tiles. To save time, I will simply list the difficulties: 1. When the game loads, the AARP banner often drops in front of the playing field. When that happens is either self-corrects, corrects when the screen is turned from horizontal to vertical, or reloads. 2. The game often reloads when it has gone on for a few minutes, sometimes 5 or more minutes into the game.3. When tapping tiles in the upper left-hand corner, the question box opens, even if the tap is well below the box. I play on a horizontal screen because of that problem. Chrome doesn’t have the question box in that position, but it has it

Hello, We ordered several gift cards for Best Buy (for appliances), and none have arrived on the same day. Usually they arrive within minutes or hours. I tried calling, and our concerns were dismissed. When asked to escalate to the processing department as suggested on these forums, they hung up on me twice during the transfer, even though I was respectful and patient. I called again today, and they are still not aware of problems, and say that the resolution may now take 5-10 days. We had to cancel appliance installation plans, and at this point are considering declaring these purchases as fraud to the credit card. And posting the recording of dismissed customer concerns online.

 "What do you know about food waste?" quiz contains a glaring error at answer 7.

Im trying to see who actually wins the giftcards? Ive spent 18,300 points this year on trying to win and never won not even a $10 card. I feel its a scam, or rigged in someway. Does anyone actually win? I would prefer we can buy the cards with our points, every 10,000 points could be a card or something.
