Here we go again!  I am getting the dreaded "Fulfillment Request Failed" on several attempts to play the Instant Win games.  At the start of every month there are glitches and errors, so it shouldn't be any surprise.  I wonder if we will have another prolonged unscheduled maintenance this month?

 I completed all the extra credit activities on two of the three lessons and the redemptions will not unlock!!  Anyone else having this problem??

  Unfortunately I missed out on last month and this month's $5 Amazon gift cards. A while back they   seemed to have a lot more available. But now it seems it's back to a very limited supply. It wasn't there   yesterday and today at 10AM it was sold out. Disappointing, but I"m not getting up at 1AM on the east coast to check AARP.  Maybe next time.

@AARPConsumerCare i do not have the envelope icon to use to send private messages. There is no reference to enable private messages in settings. Enable Private message tab is missing. can you suggest a fix   

In response to my post about not being able to do redemptions, I received a private message, as follows: Re: Redemption causes this error, "Unable to process your redemption request"Hi @r767831w, I saw your comment and wanted to reach out to take a look at the error you're receiving. May I have your name and email address? We're investigating the cause of this issue. - Diana G. But of course, AARP being AARP, there was no reply button or other way to respond and provide the requested information.  I'm not going to post my info publicly here, obviously, so I'm back to square one.  This is frustrating and crazy!

After months of not being able to sync activities I was hopeful that the 2 weeks of unscheduled maintenance would resolve this.  It did not.  I have aarp now showing that it has access to health connect, health connect has no permissions denied.  This is very frustrating and have lost tens of thousands of rewards points.  I see others are also reporting failure of the rewards credits on both android, like me and apple.  How can we rsolve this? Latest android os, aarp app and health connect. 

Why are there so many of the same  gift cards for points, for example 3 Columbia gift cards, 3 Bed Bath and Beyond cards, etc. If no one is redeeming them, why add more of the same? This has been going on for several months now, it's why there are so many available. I know personally I do not want a $5 gift card for a website or store that is pricey because I am not going to shop there just because I have a $5 gift card. Why not offer us more useful gift cards for places that we shop at more frequently like Amazon, Target, Walmart, CVS, Kohls, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. I have not redeemed any points yet this month because of the lack of variety and usefulness of the gift cards being offered. Usually by now I would normally have already redeemed points for 1 or 2 gift cards. Please stop adding more of the same and give us some variety!!

What happened to the September sweepstakes?  In September, my wife and I both earned and invested 185,500 points worth of entries in 12 different sweepstakes, all of which were to end on Sept 30, according to the rules printed on the entry page.  Now we see that those same sweepstakes have been extended until Oct 31.  By extending the sweepstakes another month, the value of our September entries is diluted, since the pool of entries will now be so much larger.  Had we known that this extension was going to happen, we would have planned our points investments differently.  Talk about changing the rules in the middle of the game!  Isn't there an obligation to conduct these sweepstakes according to the printed rules?  Should AARP be able to simply say, "Sorry, no winners drawn this month, let's wait a while"?

I am trying to get the Barnes and Noble extra credit gift card. I have completed all activities, but it only says I did 3 out of 4, so it won't let me get it. Anyone else trying to get the Barnes and Noble (or the CVS, which is also tied to this sleep lesson) gift cards? I'm wondering if this is just another site screwup or if it is something specific to my account. I see that the Burger King GC is sold out, so it looks like that lesson is working.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we work on a resolution.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This is what I'm seeing at about ~ 11:30 am est - with of course that big glitch sanjay/ CVS/ B&N Extra Credit lesson; but also notice how they spell   AAARP - make me throw up my arms and shake my head oy vey !!! Update 10-2: finally able to complete first Extra Credit lesson; but lost out on the chance for the CVS gift card. 😐

I jumped through the hoops multiple times, even received the "no points, you've already completed this activity" message, but they aren't coughing up the Amazon gift cards tonight.  Par for the course...

At the start of October 1, 2025 (midnight EST), two separate $25 Amazon Instant Win games and one $25 Kohls Instant Win game appeared, and have disappeared.  They were offered for 50 points redemption.
