AARP Rewards

Please add a “filter by points” to the rewards page so we don’t have to go through all the rewards we can’t redeem.

Went out and bought a Samsung Galaxy Fit last year (which has been great), but the AARP app forces me to use Health Connect on Android. Health Connect is awful and has a rating of only 2.5 stars in Google Play. I mean, my wearable syncs up to so many places, from Samsung Health to Personify. Will AARP ever allow this syncing within the app? Considering Health Connect has failed to track a single step in almost a year, I just consider those points for activities a lost cause.

Just an fyi I do every so often, and during maintenance specifically.Take a screenshot of your point balance and/or dashboard…you just never know what can drop.  😉

Again this morning, no points for Codeword, Outspell, Two Minute Crossword, and possibly others but I quit playing. I would have appreciated a notice from AARP that the lack of rewards for games issue has not yet been resolved.

I'm a new member and haven't been able to redeem points for anything after trying numerous times.  "Chats" don't and "rep" said I would be contacted in 7 -10 days - that never happened.  Not at all impressed with AARP especially since I HAD to join to qualify for a medical plan.  

I wonder why people don't jump on any of these gift cards.  They are almost always available.  These seem like very good gift cards for many people.  They have good reviews.

I am trying to purchase the Walgreens daily deal but it tells me I have maxed out my purchases for the month.  I have made no purchases this month, however, I did max out my point redemptions.  I think the system is getting it confused.  Anyone else having this issue? 

More training needs to be done with Home Depot accepting AARP Home Depot gift cards in person. April 1 I was in #6617 Glendora, CA store and when I gave cashier in Garden Department a printed copy of my Home Depot AARP $5 gift card I had just printed a few hours before, the cashier tried to scan the code but that wouldn't work. Then she said she could NOT enter the number code and pin on the print-out because "Management said we can't enter the numbers" (this made no sense to me). I proceeded to tell her I had been in THAT store in the past to use AARP Home Depot gift card with no problem. Then I had to wait about 10 minutes for her to call management to ask if she could type the numbers in while people piled up behind me. After all that she said the manager said it was ok THIS TIME. There needs to be CONSISTENCY in training. The cashiers need to be TRAINED in how to redeem an AARP Home Depot gift card. Otherwise, what is the point of Home Depot offering them through AARP when it is ju

I did the extra credit then redeemed a Panera gift card. I got the notice that said thanks for your purchase of this gift card. I still haven’t gotten not gotten my gift card. I did this after midnight and now I see they are sold out. I wonder how many others are having this same issue. 

With the high cost of utilities, I save by installing a shut-off valve on my showerhead. I get wet and use the valve to pause the water while I soap up, then turn it on again to rinse. Repeating this action between shampooing, conditioning etc. You can save a LOT of the cost of water and the cost of hot water heater energy use. I have been doing this for years and it really adds up. No more wasted water.

best quality for the buck in grocery shopping is if one combines unit-pricing with comparing ingredients with the most expensive/name brand.

How do I post in the non game section?  It automatically takes me there. I am wondering how many people redeemed the Panera gift card and haven’t received it?  I’m hearing they were never emailed out. I did mine after midnight and still haven’t gotten my gift card. 

I have been unable to redeem any AARP Rewards points for several weeks. Paid gift card purchases work normally, but every points‑based redemption attempt fails with the same error. I also temporarily lost the ability to reply in the Rewards forum, which has made it difficult to document the issue. I contacted support and was assigned a representative, but I have not received any updates or progress. I’m posting here to confirm whether others are experiencing the same problem and to ensure this ongoing issue is visible.

This is VERY annoying.  A call is required and one waits on hold for a very long time.  Some cards I print immediately to use and others that would be used online I keep in an online folder and save the expense of printing.    I imagine most people won't bother to call and SOMEONE is getting a windfall from unredeemed cards.  The industry calls that slippage.   What are the "security" issues?   We who are seriously inconvenienced should be told what has happened to result in this bothersome situation.
