Spacewoman (Documentary) August 3
Born on the other side of the tracks in upstate New York, astronaut Eileen Collins made history as the first woman to pilot and command an American spacecraft, breaking barriers both in the U.S. Air Force and at NASA.
Across four increasingly dramatic and dangerous space shuttle missions, she pushed the limits of courage and possibility. Featuring rare archival footage, intimate interviews and a stirring score, the riveting film reveals the personal cost of ambition and explores how much risk is too much in the pursuit of greatness.
2025 Runtime: 101 Minutes
Peter Asher: Everywhere Man (Documentary) August 4
What does it take to shape the soundtrack of modern music? This compelling documentary follows the insider who helped define it. From Swinging London and Beatle-era pop to the rise of the California singer-songwriter movement, Peter Asher was there for some of music’s most iconic artists and cultural moments of the past six decades. The pop star, producer and manager worked alongside Paul McCartney, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt and many other legends, influencing the sound of a generation. Through candid interviews, the film looks at influence, artistry, friendship and one extraordinary life in rock.

James Beard: America's First Foodie (Documentary) August 10
Explore the life of the man who helped define how America eats. Long before farm-to-table became a trend, the renowned chef championed local ingredients, bold flavors and the Pacific Northwest’s fresh bounty. Dubbed the “Dean of American Cookery” by The New York Times, he reshaped the nation’s palate.
Through conversations with influential voices in food, this documentary reveals Beard’s lasting impact, including introducing Julia Child to New York. Told in menu-inspired chapters, the film looks at Beard’s deep bond with his mother, his love of markets, his courage to live openly as a gay man, and his enduring devotion to flavor, friendship and community.
2017 Runtime: 60 Minutes
Among Neighbors (Documentary) August 14
Combining magical realism and evocative hand-drawn animation with revelatory interviews and verité footage, "Among Neighbors" examines the story of a small, rural town where Jews and Polish Catholics lived side by side for centuries before World War II. The film brings the Polish response to the Holocaust to life through the last living eyewitnesses, revealing both love and betrayal as it zeroes in on one of the last living Holocaust survivors from the town, and an aging eyewitness who saw Jews murdered there — not by Nazis, but by her own Polish neighbors. Produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Yoav Potash ("Crime After Crime," Sundance Film Festival).
