I never make New Year's resolutions. Instead, I look to the new year as the start of a new beginning. 2023 is as bright and shiny as a new penny and full of possibilities. Start the year on a positive note and make it your best year yet! 😁

Hi Lynne! My wife & I took a cruise from Vancouver, BC to Hawaii when we 1st retired some 20yrs ago. We took six days at sea to reach Hawaii. That Pacific is a darned big ocean-I walked the promenade deck twice a day, and only once did I spot another ship's smoke-stack far off on the horizon ! Didn't even see jet-trails in the sky-can't imagine the courage it took for early Polynesian people to set sail for islands they weren't even sure existed "out there somewhere"!

That's funny...you gotta love the South! I was born in Augusta and wouldn't want to live anywhere else! For two years I lived in another state but came back home! I do love hearing about other places though.
