still no reply from aarp with the "escalation" of my inquiry as to why I can redeem points as a new member but cannot redeem.  Might be time to quit.

Our AARP United Health supplemental insurance premium has increased 44% since June of 2024.  That is crazy.  Are you doing anything to lobby congress about the cost of health insurance??????

I signed up and received the power bank. I’ve tried everything and the thing won’t charge. How do I get a replacement?

AARP is suposed to be protecting the seniors, this while looking at website I see your promoting real estate services using some of the largest entities and they are supposed to working in the best interest of the senior individual? First (and last) time using AARP travel to book anything.  Booked a rental car for a trip to a military graduation in Virginia.  Car company was Budget, and then the site offered rental protection which I accepted.  AARP immediately charged me for the rental protection.  Rental day comes and just before pick up time I get a call from Budget stating that they were all sold out and had no vehicles?  Asked the agent what I was supposed to do and was told not their problem.  Then the hassle of getting refunded the protection money already charged.  Definitely would not recommend this service - book direct and don’t get screwed!

I was not able to see my account info page so I could update my credit card info. I was using Chrome Version 145.0.7632.160. This is a brand new computer with Windows 11 Had to download Firefox and use it. 

AARP will not accept my Google voice phone number as the primary phone number for the rewards program phone number. Please fix this.  I only share my GV phone number publicly.  If AARP cannot accomodate this I'll need to cancel my membership and get a refund on my membership fee. Thanks!

I finally  finished the endless repetition course every subject was repeated at least a hundred timesas if the course considered us elderly incapable of comprehending anything! Insulting,boring,boringboring almost had a heart attack from the endless repetitions.My wife said i'm not taking that thingI won't live that long  answering all those stupid queries.

With regard to the list of supermarkets that give seniors discounts, please add Caputo's grocery stores in the Chicago area. Caputo's gives seniors 10% off on Thursdays.

So AARP has a new newsletter.  Great.  I didn't subscribe to it.  I don't want any newsletters. But, here's where things get a little confusing.I received an email from AARP asking me to "confirm [my] email subscription", giving me the impression that inaction on my part would cancel the subscription.  Nope.  I logged on to my account and first got a modal asking me to click the button to receive yet another email asking me to confirm my subscription.  I closed that out and went to my account settings, and there is was.  The new newsletter stated that I was subscribed, with a link to unsubscribe.  Link to unsubscribe, clicked.                    I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS NEWSLETTER! A much better way would have been to send an email saying "Hey, we have a new newsletter that we think you'll like, click HERE to subscribe!"  Don't just automatically subscribe everyone and then a

I can't help but wonder who thought it'd be a good idea to plaster the entire site with so many static and drop down/pop up ads for membership renewal? I have YEARS left on my membership and have zero interest in renewal at this time. Further, I am much less likely to renew given the constant barrage of renewal messaging on every page of the AARP website. I know that when/if I renew, I will still be constantly bombarded on a site that is greatly diminished by reminders and offers for my renewal. It's already too much to be forced to see so much advertising on a site and for a business that I essentially--if partially and minutely--fund. I'm not paying for a membership to be pandered to constantly and it irks me that I have no way of opting out of such needless and unwanted messaging given that I can do a Google search for most everything that's provided on this site. If I subscribe to the AARP digital vault and I store my info.  What happens when I pass away?Who is able to access that info?  If both my spouse and I, heaven forbid, pass away at the same time, who can access that information?Thank youTed

I have two suggestions for the AARP website team, regarding renewals. First, when I logged in to renew, there was no way to renew without turning on Auto-Renew! That was really annoying. (I ended up using a URL from a mailer that bypassed the Account page.) Second, please give us the option of saying "no" to the renewal gift. I don't want another bag or whatever. I'd rather you take the expense to create and ship it to me and donate it to someone who needs it.

My husband just passed and I need help filling out the social security survivors benefits application. I dont know where to find some of the answers. Can someone at AARP help?

I would like to suggest that better photos be used. Surely photographers out there can provide more enjoyable puzzles of scenery and of animals and more artistic. So many are just not interesting to do at all. Rundown buildings and people in poor neighborhoods and some that are just plain unappealing.

Per your help section I should be able to just comment on the article in the conversation below the article in question, however that option is not available. This is regarding the "Outsmart the System" from the December 2024 article, specifically to ask for an estimate prior to a medical procedure.  While this is decent advice, I have found recently that such estimates are not worth the paper they are printed on.  I recently had some nerve testing done and was provided an estimate of $450 if insurance did not cover the tests.  Well, lucky for me my insurance did cover them, and my share of the cost on my high deductible plan is actually $1000.  The office is trying to tell me that the $450 charge was only if I opted to not submit to insurance at all ( the estimate clearly states if denied, not if I chose not to submit), so now I am stuck fighting that bill. I also had an MRI done.  My estimate was $44.  This was the amount my insurance provided

Have not received points for completing member crosswords for the past 2 weeks. I contacted AARP vis the chatbot & they were going to award me 600 points. Haven't seen them posted.
